MAW Vriddhi, the authorised distributor of Deepal electric vehicles in Nepal, is preparing to introduce the Deepal Nevo Q05, a new electric compact SUV, in the Nepali market. The company has not yet disclosed the specifications or pricing of the Nepal-bound model.

The Nevo Q05 made its global debut at the 2025 Auto Guangzhou Show as Deepal's first global all-electric compact SUV. It is positioned in the same segment as models such as the BYD Atto 3. The SUV measures 4,435 mm in length, 1,855 mm in width and 1,600 mm in height, with a 2,735 mm wheelbase.

The vehicle's design also received international recognition after winning the 2026 Gold A' Design Award.

The infotainment system supports Apple CarPlay and HiCar connectivity, while higher variants are equipped with Deepal's Tianshu intelligent driving system, which combines LiDAR, 11 high-definition cameras, three millimetre-wave radars and 12 ultrasonic sensors to enable advanced driver assistance features.

In China, the model has recorded strong initial demand. Changan says more than 76,000 units of the Nevo Q05 had been sold by the end of June this year, making it one of the brand's best-selling compact electric SUVs.
